We offer traditional Pilates classes for all abilities, Hatha Yoga for everyone and more specialist offerings such as Floe Pilates and Physio-Led Pilates all offered from our fabulous Studio.

​The Alexander Technique helps to improve posture, release muscle tension and relieve neck, joint and back pain. It is not a treatment for illness or pain, but it teaches you to bring awareness to your body and change the way you do things and this really can make you feel better. 

In lessons, Judith works with everyday movements like sitting, standing and walking. 

She gives guidance with her hands and uses verbal directions to help clients let go of tensions and start to move more freely. People enjoy the lightness and freedom they feel after an Alexander lesson and learn to take this into everyday life.

 

Judith holds individual and small group sessions at Watson House.  She has been teaching the Alexander technique for 25 years. Judith is a member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique LEARN MORE

Our Pilates tutors (Gill, 7:15pm Tuesdays & Elissa, 6pm Thursdays) have both adapted their classes so they’re suitable for all all stages and abilities. They offer different versions of some of the exercises to suit.

Pilates aims to strengthen the body in an even way, with particular emphasis on core strength to improve general fitness and wellbeing. Pilates exercises are done on a mat or using special equipment, such as the Reformer, the Cadillac and Wunda Chair. 

Pilates was developed by German-born Joseph Pilates, who believed mental and physical health were closely connected. BOOK ONLINE

Sally has trained in Mindfulness, Compassion and Teaching Skills at Samye Ling with the Mindfulness Association and Rob Nairn, a leading teacher in the field. Then further training in Self-Compassion Practice with Dr Kristen Neff and Chris Germer. She has been teaching the 8 week Mindfulness Based Living course regularly for the last 2 years. Sally enjoys weaving together Yoga and Mindfulness to enhance the mind-body experience. She is available for one-to-one sessions to give support on a physical, mental or emotional level.
