Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure that is widely used in Europe and elsewhere to treat various injuries and medical conditions. This medical specialty targets problem areas with microinjections of conventional or homeopathic medicines, vitamins, minerals and amino acids.
The French Academy of Medicine recognized Mesotherapy as a Specialty of Medicine in 1987. Mesotherapy has subsequently proved extremely successful for cellulite, fluid retention, lymphatic drainage, localised fat reduction and skin rejuvenation. In France over 15,000 practitioners use mesotherapy for the care of their patients and it is a procedure that is taught in French medical schools and recognised by l’Académie de Médicine as an integrating part of traditional medicine.
